"Froot" is a song by Welsh singer-songwriter Marina Diamandis, professionally known as Marina and the Diamonds. It was released for streaming on 10 October 2014, to coincide with the singer's birthday, and later received a full digital release as the lead single from her third studio album ''Froot''. Diamandis premiered the single on YouTube.
==Background and composition==
In March 2014, she posted the lyrics "I've been saving all my summers for you." She uploaded a snippet of her then-unreleased track "Froot" through her Instagram account in September 2014,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Video by Marinagrams )〕 and released its lyrics through the same profile the following month. On October 10, to coincide with Diamandis' 29th birthday, the song itself was premiered as the lead single from the newly titled parent album ''Froot'' (2015).
